unknown error, failed to find archive

Thread needs solution

I have an XP machine that failed. It was backed up using Acronis home, not sure the exact version right now, but I think 2013. I have the TIB files from the second drive. I am using Advanced workstation 11.5 and I want to restore the data, but I cannot access it. I cannot mount it, nor can I recover it. I've got about 50 TIB files and I have tried the first one, the last one, and several in between.

Are TIB files not universal? Do I need to find the original CD and reinstall Home so I can recover the data?

No replies. That does not inspire confidence.

I found that my backup archives were corrupted. Luckily, I had a second drive of backups that worked. I installed Acronis 2014 to restore the data, since I could not find a download of 2013. When I located the key code and CD, I reinstalled with that version, after the system was back online.

No replies on this forum is mostly because it is 11.5 not TrueImageHome.

Have you tried the 11.5 forum?
