Version 1 request issues
I have "True Image 2015" valid for 3 computers. I use an external 2 TB HD to store the backups for all three PC's. I just backed up the third of the 3 PC (Win 8.1) as a full backup (all were full backups) and validated it. I always check my backup by attempting to restore a single data file. When I did this and selected the newly created backup I got the "missing Version 1" message. I clicked browse and pointed to the backup on the external HD but consistantly got the Version 1 message. Why does this happen and how can I get around this?

Thanks for the reply. I put all three backups into the same directory on my external HD. Is that a problem?

There is no mention in the user manual of that being a problem. However, I do always recommend that each task has its own folder but that can be a sub-folder off the main folder. A different name for each task is an absolute must so that the program can differentiate which backup files below to which task.
The main folder can be Acrnonis backups and each pc have its own sub-folder such as
Acronis Backups
Acronis Backups\computer1
Acronis Backups\computer2
Acronis Backups\computer3
It has been reported program confusion on the part of other postings that has led me to recomend each task have its own storage folder or sub-folder.
