WD Sata Drive not showing in ATIH 2014

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

I've recently tried the demo if ATIH 2014 and found that my Windows 8 drive does not appear (the one I am on now WDC WD20EARX-00PASB0).

It previously worked on Acronis True Image Home 2013 16 Build 5551, however when I tried the update on 2013 it also done the same. From there I tried the 2014 demo, but this has also done it. I uninstalled both and returned to the Build 5551 which works fine.

My OS is Windows 8 X64 Enterprise

Motherboard
CPU Type QuadCore AMD A10-5800K, 4200 MHz (42 x 100)
Motherboard Name ASRock FM2A75 Pro4-M (1 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN)
Motherboard Chipset AMD A75, AMD K15.1

Partitions
C: (NTFS) 41038 MB (29400 MB free)
D: (NTFS) 190.8 GB (102.2 GB free)
E: (NTFS) 700.0 GB (494.2 GB free)
F: (NTFS) 532.4 GB (373.1 GB free)
H: (NTFS) 399.8 GB (224.3 GB free)
I: (NTFS) 293.4 GB (84.1 GB free)
J: (NTFS) 1863.0 GB (1586.7 GB free)
K: (NTFS) 120.0 GB (83.8 GB free)
L: (NTFS) 182.7 GB (70.0 GB free)
M: (NTFS) 298.1 GB (21.0 GB free)
P: (NTFS) 1863.0 GB (464.5 GB free)
Q: (NTFS) 1396.6 GB (385.6 GB free)
T: (NTFS) 1863.0 GB (465.8 GB free)
U: (NTFS) 1863.0 GB (507.9 GB free)
Total Size 11605.9 GB (4891.9 GB free)

C,D,E,F are on the WD drive that will not appear in ATIH 2014. When I goto disk properties in ATIH it says it is not initialized, which is impossible as this is the disk I am currently on.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Just an additional note, the drive appears in files, and I can see all the files in there, however it doesn't show in disks and partitions if that helps. O&O 17 says the drive is fine, and I've had no issues with it and also imaged the same drive today with ATIH 2013 and it worked perfect.

Think you should try this, assuming that the remaining drives beyond drive letter F: are in fact additional physical drives, detach all disk drives except the C: D: E: F: partitioned drive reinstall TI and try again.
