Weirdness and corrupt image
Just had a problem that bothered me a bit so I thought I'd mention it to people here to remind everyone to have more than one option available when doing restores.
I verified my image (on a USB drive) was good while in Windows using TI. Then after doing the restore with the boot disk first it didn't find the USB drive, then after starting again found it the second time. Then in the restore process the time remaining seemed way too high, and sure enough it eventually got halfway done and gave the dreaded corrupt image error. This was even though I validated the image just minutes before doing the restore.
so I switched to another backup image and put that back instead, but now I have to figure out if I can copy over the original archive I wanted to install to the internal drive and restore it from there without getting the corruption error again.
Moral of the story, never believe anything until the restore completes, so have more than one option when doing a restore.

Thanks for the offer, but after restoring with my second choice image I decided that I would keep that one after all. Therefore, I don't want to restore the one that is being reported as corrupted, so for now I don't have a problem that needs to be solved.
