What are these files?

Thread needs solution

This may well have nothing to do with Acronis but I thought I would give it a try. I have a number of folders on my desktop which are something to do with E-Mails and they are named, "safe email 30apr, oeqbfull.zip, Mail Backup and Microsoft.bak". When I open the safe email 30apr I see a number of files such as, "3.dbx and Drafts.dbx" which can be opened with Note book. They show a message but also show a load of gobblygook. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to what these relate to and how I can open them? I think that they relate to when I was looking for ways to save E-Mails.

Can definitely tell you these aren't Acronis files. They certainly do sound like a mail backup.

You would need to import the dbx files back into your mail client or use whatever the email backup program was to see inside.
