Which file to use when restoring

Thread needs solution

I notice for instance, when Outlook 2010 is backup up, each day there is a new file created. If perchance ones' computer should burst into a ball of flame or Outlook should decide to self destruct, then to restore, would I then just chose the latest file to restore from the subdirector - OR - just leave well enough alone and click on Recover? I think you know help will be appreciated. Thanks! :-)

When you recover, and you want to get back to date X, you will have to pick the most recent archive on or before date X. Recoveries of disk and partition backups should be done from the recovery CD, and choosing the archive by date from the CD is pretty obvious.
Recoviers of files and folders (from disk and partition backups or file backups) can be done from ATI in Windows. Simply click on the task gear menu, choose recover files and select, from the bottom of the window, the tile that shows the date you are interested in.
