WIN7 won't let me access "Documents and Settings" folder of mounted image of XP drive

Thread needs solution

I got Acronis TI 2014 just before I moved from WINXP SP3 to WIN7. Of course it created image of C: perfectly and later in XP, I could mount it and go anywhere I wanted.

Now that I'm on WIN7, and want to look at the image of C (with WINXP), WIN7 denies access EVEN with Adminstrator credentials. This is huge inconvenience. Simply wanted to get some old stuff from the documents folder of a WINXP -not admin- account image.

If I understood what is going on, it might be less aggravating.

Repeat:

1. Image I want to access is of C: drive a few days ago created within WINXP SP3 by TI2014.
2.) Now I have WIN7 installed and it mounts that image perfectly but will not permit me to acess
a low level user account from XP (documents folder).

Thanks

Thanks. It's good to know where this place is.

I came up with a solution on my own....amazing what a little reading will do.

Mount the XP image in Read/Write and then when WIN7 denies access and you click on Continue to provide admin credentials --- suddenly Acronis TI does something magic and ACCESS is granted into the heretofore forbidden "Documents and Settings" folder of an XP image.

Thanks.
