Windows 7 Enterprise: your copy of Windows is not genuine - after cloning

Note:
I have Acronis 2012 (and Plus Pack) but haven't installed it on that machine yet, Acronis 2011 (and no Plus pack) is installed there currently. Windows 7 Enterprise (volume == multiple activation) is activated and checked as being genuine.

My Intention:
I decided to upgrade a computer by installing SSD drive, cloning current C drive to it with Acronis Clone utility, and then changing boot sequence in BIOS to boot up from SSD.

Problematic results:
Cloned fine, switched to boot from SSD, booted up one time fine. Windows told me I have to reboot my machine once again to apply changes. I decided to change drive letter first, changed "C" to "L", but system didn't allow me to immediately change SSD drive letter to "C". Fine, I rebooted again, hoping to do it next.

A critical issue:
After logging into Win 7, I was presented with an empty blue screen, on the lower right it said, "your copy of Windows is not genuine". No way to do anything, I tried to run Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del), but it didn't give me any option to re-validate Windows as genuine.
Fortunately, I was able to reboot machine, change boot sequence in BIOS back and login into Windows.

Question:
How to clone Win7 and boot up from a clone without getting "Windows is not genuine" error?

Since you move to an SSD, I would recommend you go the disk and partition backup way, so that you can make sure that your SSD is aligned. Also restore the disk signature.

Pat, you said in that post,
"- put your SSD at the same spot at your current disk. Remove your current disk from the computer for the time being."

Problem is, I cannot do it: my old C hard drive is SATA II, while a new SSD is SATA III and connected through an additional PCIE SATA III card. Does it make a difference?
