Windows 7 Home Premium

Thread needs solution

When I try to backup my hard drive I get a message that the program is not compatable with my version of Windows 7 ????? I am using Ver 10.4942 ( latest update). The web site says that V10 is compatable whats going on?

I do not believe anywhere it is claimed that True Image 10 works with Windows 7. True Image 2010 (not 10) is the first version with Windows 7 support. True Image 10 is several years old.

Some folks have been able to get it to work http://forum.acronis.com/forum/5908. YMMV.

Or you could use the bootable media version if you are primarily interested in disk image backups, since the bootable media is independent of installed operating systems.

I am using Ver 10.4942 and I am trying to follow the instructiond to update to new build release # 7046 in order to be able to use Acronis under Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.

In My Account on the Acronis site, under the heading "My Products & Downloads" I get the information that I have"Latest Build: #4942 (102.52 MBMarch 12, 2007 ) ".

From your page "http://forum.acronis.com/forum/9758" I get the impression that I should be able to download release # 7046 from that page (My Products & Downloads).

I cannot find the correct link for downloading # 7046 anywhere on that page.

Please help.

Build 7046 is for True Image Home 2010, not True Image version 10. They are different versions. The sequence is True Image 10, True Image 11, True Image 2009, True Image 2010 (current version). Version 10 is 3 versions ago.
