Windows 8 waking up at the wrong time
There are several I've struggled with my Windows 8 to find out why it was waking up on wrong times.
I used all methods to remedy this until I finally found out who was waking Windows 8 was the service "\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2\schedul2.exe (AcrSch2Svc)".
Who told me this was the command "Powercfg /waketimers", in cmd window.
Once I disabled the scheduling of my backup, this service disappeared from Powercfg list and therefore the Windows 8 has stopped to waking up unexpectedly.
Ok, since I discovered the culprit, I decided to understand what was happening.
So far, I realize that the scheduling time of backup is not corresponding with what appears on PowerCfg.
For example: My backup is scheduled for 05 Am and the powercfg shows that schedul2.exe service will expire at 11:10 Am..
There is no relationship between the scheduled time in the backup and what the powercfg shows.
And worse, there is no relationship with powercfg time and the time that Windows 8 awake.
The only thing I could confirm is that Windows 8 just stops wake up if I remove the backup schedule.
But this way I can't use an important automation of Acronis True Image 2015.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tips, but I think both are ok.
In "Account":
- "Build 6525. Acronis True Image 2015 is up to date."
In Windows Services:
- "Acronis Scheduler Services": Automatic Start.
At this moment I have 2 backup jobs scheduled.
Just 1 wake computer:
Now I get this in powercfg (expires at 05:42 Pm):

Well, as in the last image, my Windows woke up at 17:42, as in powercfg image.
At least he is waking up as indicated.
But now, the powercfg are recommending 19:42 (two hours later).
I can not understand why.

Now I'm realizing that the scheduler is performing the schedule every two hours, that is, is not respecting the scheduled time.
Apparently it is using the setting bellow: "Start every 2 hours".
It is certainly a bug.
Would anyone tell me how resover this?

In your post #2 attachment, I am not aware of a correlation between the two settings.
Recheck yur account settings, Is the check updates checked or unchecked. Checking every two hours might br normal if the "check updates" is pre-checked.
The setting you are showing in post 3-4 is showing when the schedules ceases or stops. That illustrarion is not the start time.
Are you working with Win 8.0 or 8.1?

Hi,
"check for updates" is not checked.
I have Windows 8.1.

Giving up the 2015 version ... Installing the 2014 version, better interface, more features, more flexible and foremost, without this damn bug.

This may be to late but you should check that your time settings in your system bios match that of your Windows installation time.

In fact it's too late. ACT 2015 is very buggy. I lost tens of hours to understand what was happening and the worst was to see that this time was lost by 2015 fault.
I simply uninstalled 2015 version completely and installed 2014, remade backup routines exactly as before, with the same schedules, and with version 2014 everything is working perfectly (besides being easier to use).
It's a shame that Acronis is regressing instead of moving forward with the versions.
