Windows 98se to virtual machine

Hi All

I have a Pentium II running Win 98se with some old software that I need to keep going.
My question is that I wish to virtualize the HDD so as to run it on a newer machine.
I don't care what virtual platform I run on (virtual-PC, virtual Box etc)

Any suggestions ?
Or will this be a nightmare ?
I was intending to use true Image Home 2011 with plus Pack.
