Windows freezes when trying to create backup

Dear forum,

i bought the new True Image Home 2010 for use with windows 7, because I was very satisfied
with the older version of the products from Acronis. But at the moment I am not that satisfied anymore.
I tried to backup my whole windows partion but when the backup starts, windows freezes and nothing is possible except turning off power to get the pc running again.
I also tried to use the boot media to make a backup of my pc, but this also is not possibly because the program freezes too.

I am using windows 7 32-bit with 4gb of ram and 4 hard disk drives with always 2 in one raid array on a sata onboard-raid-controller.

Does anybody have an idea where to start searching for the problem ?

Junk it. It's crap. I'm demanding a refund and have already purchased Norton Ghost 15.

Version 5055 = worked
Version 6029 = TOTAL FAIL
Version 6053 (latest Crap) = total lockup of computer 18% into backup.

(Windows 7 64bit Ultimate)

Acronis True Image 11 (Build 8101) freezes when I get to the box that asks if I want to do an incremental or full back up. I have to close the program. I'm using the program with Windows Home Premium 7 (64 bit).
