Windows Mail no longer displays messages
Hello,
I cloned my hard drive with 1 GB Windows 7 x64 on a 256 GB SSD.
After the success of cloning with Acronis® ATI 2013, several tiles occur :
starting with my Windows Mail email client with which all my messages & archived are no longer displayed in the preview pane :-(
What has happened ?
Do you understand that I want to say at us ?

Hello Colin,
Yes I made several handling system to keep the mail client in Windows Vista.
Currently, I am using Windows Seven x64 SP1.
Actually I made a clone of my HDD to a new SSD.
SSD on the target system and applications are working perfectly except IE9 is not at the top, that I could test now, to follow...
However on the source disk where the problems are many and varied :
- IE9 has been erratic !
- Then the messages of my email client no longer displayed in the preview pane, they were moved to the C:\Documents and Settings\etc... and I can't see that the opening attachments.
Finally to complete my answer here, yes SSD partitions on target were changed because :
Source = 1000 GB HDD & target = 256 GB SSD
This is the situation for the time being ...
[Open edit mode)
I just solve malfunctions of IE9 ‘cool’
This came from adjusting the location of the cache files.

C:\Documents and Settings\ should not be the directory under Windows 7 or Vista.
It would be, by default, C:\Users\[USER A]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\...
You can change the folder within Live Mail.
Are you sure?

To be very specific I mean that I use Windows Mail with Windows 7 and not Windows Live Mail.
Then applying ATI 2013 disrupted my system partition source presenting various malfunctions of any kind.
I still receives my messages with Windows Mail, but I can no longer possible to open these messages using the attachment feature. My mail client became blind !
@ Pat L
The location of the third level I observed previously was located at the beginning of the message as an attachment to: C: \ Documents and Settings \ xxx
Unless I am mistaken.
I know it does not match the layout system Windows 7 ... but this is what seems to have noticed.
Now when I search it using Windows Explorer I do not have this configuration on C:
Anyway it does not work.
Here is the folder in question identified.
This is a folder system protected and hidden.
It's here :

Apart from that, I said that the location of the cache file IE, I could assign a custom location on the SSD, this is where the browser Microsoft is working properly.
On the HDD can not set the cache to the desired location and IE constantly finds himself stuck.
However Chrome & Waterfox fueled ;-)

Pomelo,
Whether it is Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail, the folders should be in the path I indicated.
Windows Mail is not in Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/looking-for-windows-mail
Document and Settings is only used for application compatibility.
