Windows No Disk Error

Thread needs solution

When booting Windows XP Professional (automatic updates on)
I get the following error message

Windows – No Disk
Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

Cancel Try Again Continue

I have traced the issue to TrueImageMonitor.exe
If I do not load TrueImageMonitor.exe using msconfig the boot error goes away.

It also goes away if I uninstall Acronis True Image Home 2010

I got this error using both built 6053 and built 7046

Hello Dean,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.
We have had a similar issue concerning Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, it is under investigation now. Could you please obtain AcronisInfo file and send it to me via Private Message, we will troubleshoot the issue for the Home versions also.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other questions do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.

Hello Chris,

Thank you for finding time to leave a comment.

Unfortunately this error is too common, thus the issue doesn't have a unique solution, and each case should be investigated separately. Please gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
