Wireless in Not Connected status after an image was restored to a laptop

Thread needs solution

I use Acronis Backup & Restore version 10 to clone my company's newest laptops, HP Elitebook 8560p. I run into a problem which I never experienced before.

After a Windows 7 image was restored to a 2nd laptop, the onboard Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wireless adaptor stops working. The adaptor tries to connect innitially but eventually fails and is left in a "Not Connected" status. The wirelss adaptor on the 1st laptop I used to create the master image is still working though.

No matter what mehtods I tried, I never get the wireless on any cloned laptops working. The Intel driver installed is the most updated from HP. I even tried to create an image of a laptop without the intel wireless driver and only installed this dirver onto the cloned laptop. This trick didn't work. It looks like something gets changed during the backup process.

I wonder if anyone has experienced such problem and have already figured out a solution. Thanks!

Is the adapter configured to connect with automatic settings? No static IP or custom settings?

If you go to Network Connections and disable the connection and then enable it, does it work?

If you take one of the cloned drives and try to boot it in the 1st laptop, does the WiFi work?
