Wrong Product? - True Image Home and a domain workstation backup
Hello,
I have a problem with using Acronis True Image Home 2011. I suspect I'm using the wrong product.... and am willing to purchase the correct one if it makes Acronis happy :) I do not however want anything more complicated.
We have a test computer on our domain. We load a development application (oracle) on the machine and then using the acronis tool backup the setup. We test various appliciatons and then the acronis tool to recover the backup and test applicaitons again.
We have 1 problem. This machine is dropping off the domain. Something is going out of sync.
Here is the error :
Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable or because your computer account was not found. Please try again. If this message continues to appear, contact your system administrator for assistance."

Tony, let me assist you with this issue please.
If this is a server operating system then Acronis True Image 2011 Home will not support it. It supports Windows 7, XP and Vista.
Were you using Acronis bootable media to recover your system? It is possible this issue is caused by different disk signatures.
I would recommend to download a trial version of Acronis Backup and Recovery 11, depending on your operating system, please take a look at this KB article for more details.
Before restoring please collect this report from the OS just in case and if the issue re-occurs please collect the same report from that machine and kindly get back to me with them so that we can understand what happens.

We used the built in recovery, no media.
Okay will test Aconis Backup and Recovery 11 and collect report.
