You have to reboot your computer before running rue Image

Thread needs solution

Hi, I used the trial version True Image 10 for a few days and then purchased the full version, although I did not download the file again.
I run Windsows XP SP3.
Today, when I tried to use True Image it keeps coming up with error message :You have to reboot your computer before running Acronis True Image Home.
I have rebooted several times, have downloaded the file with updates again from Acronis and still getting same message.
This is most frustrating - I had heard good reports about Acronis, but surely this is not right.

Any help would be appreciated.

True Image 2010 working fine for me. Seems Acronis got confused with the manner inwhich you did things. I'd un-install, then install again. Might run RegCleaner immediately after the un-install and before the re-install.

I have tried all the above suggestions, installed with and without Norton Security running. It shows up in Process Explorer as running. Still getting the same message.
I am stumped.

Any other suggestions out there

Thank you

I have resolved the issue, I used the Acronic Clean Up Utility and it got rid of a file left behind at uninstlllation and now the new installation is working fine.

I am getting the same message after installing DD 11. Idid the uninstall and reinstall. I looked at the registry and the reboot key is blank. I have gone in circles for hours and days. Runing the TI 10 upgrade. Where is the answer?
