Backups failing - errors in log refer to file not found

Thread needs solution

Just recently, Backups have been failing when external USB drive connected, and I don't have the expertise to make sense of the log file, and when I try to browse the directory it refers to, the directory doesn't exist. Could this perhaps be a result of an OSX system update? Running 10.15.5, and Acronis 2019 V23.5.17780

Solution I'm guessing, is to start again, and make a fresh brand new backup from scratch, and erase/remove the incremental backup that has been in use for the past year or so?
