Hello Darkstar,

I am not sure to understand you right.
Backup naming is automatic, so there is no option to name a backup at the moment.

Kind regards,

Hello Sergey,

thats what I mean.

So when will it come that I can give it a name as I want cause this is not
very practical ...

How is this feature request going?

Before I purchase the actual version (using trial), I need to be able to name my backups. While a generic name that you currently utilize is great for a single Mac to back up, it is absolutely worthless when backing up more than one Mac. I have no idea which backup is for which computer!

Until this is changed, I will stick with Time Machine.

Does anyone have a work-around?

Hello Michele,

Acronis True Image for Mac 2016 Beta will be released soon,
up from this version backup naming is available as option.

Kind regards,

That's crap real crap. I have just purchased a copy after using the windows Acronis for years. If you have more than one Mac how can you know which backup is for which machine. I have bought in 20115 and this feature is still not available . How can I get a refund.

JFYI

Backup naming for the new backups is now available in Acronis True Image for Mac.
