TI2016: Error restoring BootCamp partition on MacBook Pro (Mid 2015)
Hi,
I just tried to restore an True Image 2016 Backup from my MacBook Pro (Mid 2015).
I selected only the Win10 Bootcamp partition for restoring.
The process starts, and at about 17% it aborts with the Log entry "Fehler beim Löschen der Datei" ("error deleting file").
There is no further information displayed.
I tried this two times, same result.
The Image file resides on a NAS and is accessed through a SMB share.
Any ideas what I can do to make it work?
Regards,
HeliG

After formatting the NTFS partition I could restore the backup.
At least it said so, but the OS is corrupted, programs complain about missing components, etc.
Seems that Acronis does *NOT* work on Mac, at least not with bootcamp, although advertisement and the software itself claim to do so.
Backup reported as OK, restore reported as OK, but result is corrupted.
What a waste of money and time, now i have to start from scratch.

Hello HeliG,
If you have more than 1 recovery point by any chance, I suggest you to repeat the restoration and choose one of earlier recovery points.
It looks like you restored already damaged Windows. Some issues with environment (for example, with file system) may not be noticeable until corresponding disk volume is restored or resized.
