.tibx is all corrupted or locked
I have been using acronis for 9 months. I have several .tibx but when I go to restore they say they are locked or corrupted. I thought i had a back up and my system died. How can I get to those files? All of them say they are locked or corrupted.
I would of never thought this was possible that all would be corrupted.

Dear Bruce,
Have you tried to update the product? We recommend installing a trial version of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, where we have implemented a lot of enhancements and fixes. If the issue reproduces please contact our support for help: https://www.acronis.com/support/

Hello,
Daria
I think it is, the image that has 7 partitions, and because 1 partition is corrupted, cant not mount the image and cant not show me the files inside the backup file for recovery in the windows explorer.
Is there a solution to this problem?
I will install the trial version like you said.
Thank You?

I was already trying the latest trial version avalable on site, as you said, and it didn't work, how can I extract the data from the backup?

Bruce, if the backup image file is corrupted then there are no tools provided by Acronis that can help you recover the contents to my knowledge.
The first check-point here is to perform a Validation of the .tibx file. This can be done from Explorer by selecting the Validate option from the Acronis menu shown when right-clicking on the file. If the backup is shown in the main ATI 2021 GUI then you can validate from there too.
If validation is successful, then this means that the contents of the .tibx file remain unchanged since the file was written to disk during the backup process that created it. Unfortunately, this only proves the file itself to be good - it does not guarantee that the partitions within the image were good when the backup was made!
If validation is good for the file, then I would suggest trying to restore an individual partition from the image to a spare disk drive, or if you have not already tried, restore the whole image as a disk recovery to a spare drive.
If recovering the image within Windows does not work, then try using the Acronis rescue media to boot your PC then try the recovery via that method.
See KB 65508: Acronis True Image 2021: how to create bootable media and KB 59877: Acronis True Image: how to distinguish between UEFI and Legacy BIOS boot modes of Acronis Bootable Media
When doing the restore of your backup, this is best done as a Disk & Partition restore and at the top Disk selection level.
Please see forum topic: [How to] recover an entire disk backup - and in particular the attached PDF document which shows a step-by-step tutorial for doing this type of recovery / restore.

the validation is successful in the file backup, but cannot show the files inside it, and i cannot recover using , Acronis Media USB showing the message "the Image is corrupted, try mount the image to recovery the files of the backup" (that I remember its the error showing)
But show-me in the wizard mounter 6 of 7 partitions of the backup.
There is another solution for this?
And I don't have the computer where the image was installed.

Bruce, if the backup image is from a Windows Vista system, when was this created and what version of Acronis was used to create it?
I am assuming that you created this image with ATI 2020, 2021 or ACPHO as it is a .TIBX file, but if it was created by an earlier version such as ATI 2019 or earlier, then this should be a .TIB file and should not be renamed as .TIBX as will always be considered to be corrupt in that case.
