Hallo zusammen,

ich bin von Windows 7 auf Windows 8 umgestiegen und habe nun eine Frage zum Erstellen eines bootbaren Mediums unter Windows 8 mit ATI2013PP:

unter Windows 7 musste dazu ja WAIK installiert werden, für Windows 8 gibt es ja nun das WADK. Reicht es zum Erstellen eines eigenen bootfähigen Mediums unter Windows 8, wenn nur das WADK installiert ist, oder benötigt man zusätzlich das WAIK ?

danke für die Antwort. Ich war nur erstaunt, dass in dem angegebenen Link steht, man müsse erst das Windows AIK installieren:

IMPORTANT

You must have the Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows 7 installed, and be able to create WinPE 3.0/3.1 bootable media with the Acronis True Image 2013 Plus Pack WinPE ISO Builder (info here: http://kb.acronis.com/content/34318) before installing the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 8 and following these instructions. The WAIK for Windows 7 can be found here. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5753

Dann versuche ich das zuerst nur mit dem Windows ADK, sollte es Probleme geben, kann das AIK ja nachinstalliert werden.

Hab nun festgestellt, dass das Windows AIK doch benötigt wird. Folgt man der oben angegebenen Anleitung, so erhält man nach dem Schritt

"Click the "winpe.wim" file.
See Windows_8_ADK_Screen_7.png
Click "Next"."

die Meldung, dass dazu das Windows AIK installiert sein muss.

Hallo krabbe, mit der Anleitung von Mustang benötigt man bei Windows8 nur das ADK (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit).
