What is the meaning of the icons before a posting
Hello,
As I am new to this forum I like to know what is the meaning of the icons before a question/posting?
Thanks in advance
Hans

Thanks for your reply.
Browsing through (most of) these postings I miss an icon which indicates that an issue/question/problem has been solved or at least has been helpfull for the original poster. More or less like the custom functionality in the Apple user community.
I also noticed that there are so few Apple users in this forum, or does that mean that most of them don't have any problems with ATI?

You are correct. There is no button available marking a topic that has been resolved. Some users update the subject to reflect it, but most don't and usually respond in the thread it's resolv d, but it's not easily identified that way. It's a forum feature request that some users are waiting on.
I can't answer your other question. Most people who aren't having problems don't bother posting in forums until they do have one. However, I suspect the MacIntosh community is smaller with this product since Mac support has been arround just a few years and TimeMachine is adequate for a lot of home scenarios. Only Acronis could provide those details. We're mostly just end users here (even the ones with MVP badges).

FYI - this seems to be an option as of the last couple of weeks. The original poster can mark a solution now.

Yes, now it is possible to mark forum topics as Solved with the link to a helpful comment! I'm going to prepare a how-to guide with the explanation of what new features were added to forum and how to use them :)
