Hi,

i have one server with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 installed, with a HP ultrium autoloader connected to it. I installed the Acronis Recovery for Exchange in another server and i want to backup the mailboxes to the autoloader, but the option doesn't appear in the selection.
Can you help me?

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue.

I regret to inform you that in case you would like to backup Exchange to the tape you need to have it attached to the machine with the database. In previous versions of the software you could install the Backup Server from the Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server and save the Acronis Recovery for MS Exchange to the remote tape/autoloader, but in Acronis Backup and Recovery this feature is not available yet. Currently we are working on improving it, but still there are no timeframes when we have it released.

I have contacted Experts' Team to find out whether there is any workaround available, and they suggested to backup to any other suitable location - this will more reliable solution for the case. Please note that recovery of the mailboxes is a long process, and tape increases the restore time significantly.
