Exchange Backup & Recovery Clean-Up

Thread needs solution

I hope this is in the right section.

I have Exchange Backup & Recovery set up on our server. It is currently set to create a Full backup once a week (on Sundays) and Incrementials on the other days of the weeks. This works great and hasn't caused any issues yet. The problem I am having is the Clean-Up task. I used the Clean-Up wizard to create the task. I set it to use GFS scheme, the problem no is that it has been over 5 weeks since I have set all this up and the even though the Clean-Up task has ran it has not removed any of the older backups.

Did I miss something? If you need more information please let me know.

Let's sort this issue out. How exactly have you specified the backup task itself? What is the source and destination of this task? 

Could you please let me know the build number of the product, which you can find in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number)?

Does this folder (you're trying to clean up) contain CDP full backup?

Could you please provide me with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report, so that I can try to reproduce it?

I used the wizard to create the backup itself. Specified the the location name and frequency of the backup through the wizard. The backup runs once a day. A full backup is ran on Sundays and the Incrementals are ran on Monday through Friday with no backup on Saturday. After the wizard was finished creating the backup tasks, I used the Clean-up wizard to setup this task. Same thing went through the wizard it asked me were the backups were located and how often it should run. I have set it to run on Sundays prior to the Full backups. I do not believe that the folder contains CDP as the backups only run once a day.

Any help would be great.

We have fixed some issues with Clean Up tasks in our latest build (220).

First of all, please update the product to this build.

You can download all necessary files from Registered products and downloads section in your account.

If you have not registered your product on our web site yet, we recommend to do it in order to receive free updates.

- Choose Product registration
- Enter the serial number for your Acronis product in the corresponding field.

If this does not help, please make sure that you're creating a task as it's described in this article.

I have finally had a chance to upgrade out version to build#220.
I am still experiencing the same issues as noted in my previous messages.

I am going to take some time in the next coming days and recreate the tasks we currently have setup in Acronis Exchange Recovery. I will report back once complete with the results.
