hard drives don't show up in restore mode

Thread needs solution

I have a dell Optiplex 390 computer, and an acronis image made in acronis trueimage 10. I have previously put this image onto a optiplex 380 computer with NO problem. However, with the new 390, the primary drive is not seen as a location I can restore the image to when I boot from Acronis media. I have done this MANY times. It simply doesn't show up, at all. No special settings on the comptuer; just one SATA drive, on SATA 0, and a CD rom, which has the acronis media in it. NOTHING.

This is, well, pretty annoying. I need to image this machine for my network using the image I previously created.

Thoughts please.

What version of TI are you using? A newer version may include the drivers required for the 390 computer.

Also, do you mean TI 10 or TI 2010 (version 10 is much older than 2010)?

I have TI home 2012.

I believe that the image that I am attempting to use was made with TI 2010.

Never had the issue with the 380s. Using the correct bootable media, still nothing.

thanks.

In the Tools & Utilities section there's an Add New Disk utility. If you click it does it show the drive? Just trying to find out if the drive was recognized.
