E-mail Backup: "The last backup has failed"
Hi
A few days ago I upgraded from True Image 2011 to 2013. After I installed it I went in to look at the new format. That is when I noticed the email backup had failed for the last 4 days. The event log is as follows:
"Error occurred while backing up. (0x40019)
Tag = 0xCE542E14DA203B82
Failed to create an e-mail backup, because PST file containing your e-mail messages and settings is corrupted. (0x580010)
Tag = 0xC4B51775BCC46232"

I went to the Acronis Knowledge base and was informed this error event was not in there yet. I use MS Outlook 2002 SP3 which is functioning just fine.
I tried to use the online support (Email) attaching the Acronis System Report, but it said the file was too big.
Having to pay for phone support on a new software package SUCKS.

There is the same theme running as 35362: Can't backup Windows Live Mail, not that this has presented a complete answer to the problem!

I was using Live Mail 2011 and email backups ceased to function after upgrading to TI2013. After downloading Live Mail 2012 and starting with a new full email backup, i.e. not trying to add an incremental backup to a previous existing file, everything works well. It seems that TI2013 is not compatible with Live Mail 2011 and, therefore, may not be compatible with some other email programs that worked with TI2012.

I have just had a similar problem that for the past month the incremental backup has failed (I was travelling for 3 weeks so didn't see it) with that error code. After several trials I found that eliminating C:\users from the backup allowed it to run error free. I don't know if this is due to a very recent Windows update (running Win7 Pro) or a problem with the Acronis program TI2013 build 6514. Up until the past month I've not had one error. (I've filed a support request with Acronis although why I have to pay for an error in their program is beyond me!)

Acronis policy states that if they are able to confirm a bug, they will refund the support fee.
