Can't run pre backup command
ABR Advance Server on Small Business Server:
I want to run a simple pre command. But seemingly no matter what and not matter how simple the test command, when I "test" the command it fails with:
Code: 1,025(0x401)
LineInfo: 0x858CC05F488A8DCB;
Module: C:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\mms.exe
Message:
Code: 65,520(0xFFF0)
LineInfo: 0xBD28FDBD64EDB8BC;
Message: The parameter is incorrect
There is a link in the error message to Acronis where it says there is no information about this error. This exact same error now happens on my W2003 server with ABR10 that I just purchased. Commands worked fine in True Image vers. 9.
There MUST be a simple explanation. And this CANNOT be rare, as I have it on two servers, unless I am particularly clueless, which in this respect I am. Plus, I have inquired through support now several times, been booted up the ladder, and never, ultimately, answered.
Help, Please! Thanks in advance!

Thank you.
Since my post I discovered for myself that although TEST wouldn't work my command works fine within the backup process. Somehow, it took me this long to think that maybe the problem was in the "TEST" itself.
As I was writing this I received a call from Ahmad Ibrahimov in support who explained that since I am connecting to my SBS, a domain controller, over Remote Desktop the logon to my server is not completed in such a way as to establish my credentials. Thus, test wouldn't work due to a permission related issue even though there was nothing wrong with my command.
Although it has taken many months to get past this issue I am delighted with the rapid response generated by this forum post. Thank you!
