Problem with Recover (AB&R 10): not working through firewall? Solved.
Hardware setup:
Acronis Management Server running on PC (Windows XP) behind firewall (LAN).
PC2 (Windows XP, 64bit) to backup is on WAN.
Backup process succeeded (9.3 GB).
Recovery fails immediately.
- Create Recover Task.
- Start it, reboot PC2 when prompted.
- PC2 reboots ok, starts Acronis Windows.
- Recovery screen appears, after 1 sec. displays "Failed".
-- Error code 0x007F0E25+0x007F0A43 (not in KB).

Hi Bas
Just wanted to get some extra details with your WAN connection, is this via the internet?
Also do you have a VPN running and are you able to connect to the remote PC ok (eg, copy/past files between the systems ok?)
It might be good to check the following details as well to ensure you have the correct port opened on both ends/systems:

Hi,
No, the WAN is not over the internet.
I can reach PC2 from the PC with AMS and vice versa without problems.
The Backup is working ok, so files can be transferred up and down.
First I opened only TCP 9876, but later I have opened all for PC2 - PC AMS.
Attached is a simple diagram.

Problem solved.
Was related to the PC on the WAN side of the firewall.
With another pc it worked normally.
