Best way to merge .tib files created in incremental backup??
Is there any way I can merge two .tib files created from an incremental backup? I am kicking myself for not doing a full backup of my old PC, but rather being impatient and doing an incremental backup instead. Now I have 2 .tib files and I need to consolidate them. Could I select those two files and select "My Data" to back them up into one .tib file?
The only thing I can think of to go about it the "right" way is to restore those backups onto some sort of spare drive (which I don't have) and then back them up all over again in a "full" backup. That seems awfully silly, you think ATI would have thought to include a "combine backups" tool or something... Would this be the only way to do this?

Hi I have got a little problem with Windows 7..it does not start when I switch on the computer. I saved through Acronis a copy of the Recovery Disc, a .tib file. Now I want to take this .tib file of 12.7GB and create a .iso image of the file to use a bootable recovery disc when I switch on the computer, in order to restore Windows 7. How can I create the .iso image starting from .tib file and store as bootable image in a USB pendrive?...thanks

You are better off donwloading the bootable iSO directly from your account, and burn it to a DVD, or use Grub4DOS to use a USB pendrice.
I don't see a clean way to move from a TIB file to an ISO and make this bootable.
You could try to restore your TIB file onto a blank DVD on another computer (not sure this will work).
