Errors in Acronis True Image Home 2013
I bought ATIH 2013 yesterday but it makes me crazy. I am using Windows 7 professional x 64bit (Sony-VAIO).
ERROR - 1:
Backing up from C drive to D drive via running the ATIH 2013 programme, then validate it after backing up. No problem has been found. However, when I tried to recover it by running ATIH 2013, I followed the instructions and restart my laptop. The system did not restore my backup but merely restarted my laptop. See attachment 1,2,3,4.
ERROR - 2:
I tried to insert the ATIH 2013 boot disc into the laptop, the screen shows:-
1) please wait......
2) runtime exception "failed to detect the graphic output mode", code 21495812. tg 0x089328c5c20a9047
Is there any expert can help in these issues?
Regards,
Patrick

Hi Colin,
Thank you for your kind assistance.
I tried your suggestion on ERROR-2 but found that there is no response when I pressed F11. From the screen, there are 3 options for me to choose. They are as follow:-
1) True image
2) Acronis System Report
C) Continue Booting
I have tried the above 3 options but none of them works. My laptop can start Windows when I extracted the booting CD.
Fo ERROR-1, I was using Acronis True image Home Version 11 (build 8027) for my old laptop (Windows XP), I frequently restored the partition from D drive to C drive within the windows system (not booting the CD), it is running smoothly. Since ATIH 2013 provides the function in dealing with restoration within Windows system, it is assumed that it can be run itself without using booting CD.

Patrick

Hi Colin
I am also getting this error message" Runtime exception 'Failed to detect graphic output mode' code 21495812, tag 0x089328c5c20a9047".
I used the "disk Clone" tool that came with Seagate DiskWizard. Since using this tool I keep getting the error message on boot.
F11 does not do anything
Can you help?

Laurence,
I take it that after the message the system boots into Windows correctly?
Is this a laptop?
Do you still have the original disk and contents?
Unfortunately Seagate may have altered the recovery environment as well as parts of TrueImage/Disk Wizard itself.
What OS are you using?

Correct
Is this a laptop?
YES
Do you still have the original disk and contents?
YES but I receive the error when using either the origional disk or the clone disk. If I use a completely new disk with the same OS installed that has no link to any cloning tools then the system boots without the error message
Unfortunately Seagate may have altered the recovery environment as well as parts of TrueImage/Disk Wizard itself.
What OS are you using? Win8.1
