Toshiba Tecra S4, after cloning hard-drive: 0x0000007b
I bought Acronis True Image so i could install a larger hard-drive in a Toshiba Tecra S4 laptop (model PTS40C-MC501E);
I followed instruction from the KB 2931: installed new drive in laptop and original drive with USB adapter,
downloaded Acronis Bootable Media and then burned it on a CD. Booted from CD, started "Clone Disk"
followed instruction to the letter, program tells me cloning was successfull. But then i get BSOD on restart with new drive:
***STOP: 0x0000007B (0XF78A6524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
P.S.: System is working fine with old drive and is free of spywares or viruses, NO parameters whatsoever where changed.
In short, bought a new drive, bought this program so I'm a bit frustated after spending this much money,
a bad first experience with a Acronis product, any help would be greatly appreciated, there must be a way to make this work ?
Regards, Dan

Hi!
I had the same problem and finally found the solution here
http://forum.acronis.com/forum/10284
turns out that the install from Toshiba recovery DVD sets up the system drive as RAID and thus you have to install the new drive and set it to RAID (it is JBOD after installing it) in the BIOS on page 3, the "execution" will ask for a "string" which is 1234
BEFORE creating the clone on the new drive!
Hope that help!
Good luck, flox.
