Access BIOS from computer
I am using Acronis True Image 2009 on a pc running Windows 7. I use a third party program to access my home computer from a remote computer. Since I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, I have been unable to wake up my home computer from a remote computer after I put my home computer to sleep. The third party program supports has given me the following solution: "For a Windows PC that is powered off (but still plugged in), confirm that Wake on LAN is enabled in the computer's BIOS." I am unable to access my home computer's BIOS. Nothing happens when I press the F2 key at computer start-up. I have a similar problem in not being able to start my computer in safe mode. In both cases, I think Acronis has somehow blocked my ability to access the BIOS or to start in safe mode. I appreciate any help a forum member can give me.
