Detected Vulnerabilities Scan Failed

Thread needs solution

Acronis True Image Version 2021, Build 25.7.39184

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
Version 1909, OS Build 18363.1379

After running a vulnerability scan, the following error message appeared:
"The vulnerability scan failed."

I have rebooted and run the scan several times.

What do I do?

ATI does not have a repair ATI feature.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

John, see KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings - for details of how to do a repair install etc.

For the vulnerability scan issue, I would recommend reporting this direct to Acronis given how new this feature is in ATI 2021.  I do not recall any other reports from other users about the vulnerability scan feature in the forums.

John,

Vulnerability assessment became available with update 2 of the TI 2021 product.  I think that feature relies on a cloud connection so that may be at issue here.  Do you connect wireless to the internet?  If yes can you connect to the internet via a wired connection and if so have you tried that?

Steve - I appreciate your help.

As you suggested, I did all the steps in

KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings

Ultimately, I did the Cleanup Method which did not correct the problem.

Just after completing the Cleanup Method, I received an email from Avra Sett at Acronis technical support. I am doing some steps she suggested. I will report back to you after working with her trying to resolve the issue. Thanks again.

Enchantech - I appreciate your help.

My laptop is hard wired to the router.
I do not use the Acronis cloud because my backups are video related and huge.

Please see my above response to Steve.
Thanks again for your help.

John,

I did read your reply to Steve.  My comment would be, see how your support goes.  I would suspect possibly an internet connection or network connection issue of some type being at fault.  Something like that would interrupt the assessment process which would cause the scan to fail.
