Email not sent after completion of backup either failure or success
I had to reload Acronis 2021 Trueimage after having problems unrelated to the email. After I loaded it and configured the backup, I set up the notification to send an email at the end of the backup whether it failed or succeeded and sent the test email which succeeded.
Since then, I have not received any email from Acronis, just to make sure I looked and the backups have been running and have succeeded.
The particulars of the email settings are
smtp.gmail.com
TLS using port 587
Yes, I did set the application-specific password on GMail, and it has been working without a problem for months. Let me know if you need any other info.

Yes, the test email still works. I've looked through several of the logs, I don't know which one to look at, but I'm wondering if it's even trying to send the email. Is there a log that says it's trying to send the email, if so, which one is it?

If the test email still works then I would suspect that something else is going on here, perhaps at the Gmail end. I have never been able to find any log that records anything about these email notifications (checked again today!).

Make sure the account is configured properly ( To use a Gmail account as email service, do the following: Click to expand ).
If everything is properly configured and the test works as you mentioned above I suggest you raising a ticket with our support. At the moment I don't see any tickets reporting issues with the email notifications so an investigation would be required.
