Errors when I try to backup XP Computer.

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I just have add a new computer in the Acronis management console.
When I launch my plan to backup (full backup) I have the following errors after 10 seconds :

For information:
Everything is official with licence.

I use a service account to launch backup task
administrator group of machine contains this service account.

no problem to access to the vault. It works with other computers.
Firewall is disable.

Hello Clement,

This is a VSS (Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service) snapshot error. By default, our product uses this service to create snapshots in Windows.

This type of error can have hundreds of different causes, most of them caused by Windows issues and unrelated to our product. As a first step, I would suggest creating a support ticket with us or going through the troubleshooting guide in our KB
