Bootable ISO, build 44421: no Network card detected

Thread needs solution

I try to run a backup from a bootable ISO ( AcronisBackupWS_11.7_44421_en-EU.iso) on an USB stick, but Acronis doesn't detect the network card for saving the backup on a different computer.

It's a brand new Lenovo X260 with an Intel I219-V Ethernet controller (according to spec sheet). Attached the system report. Any advice would be great !!

Hello Freddy,

I'd suggest checking the troubleshooting steps from the following article. As an alternative, you may use a Windows-based Bootable Media (WinPE). It uses Windows-based drivers which can be requested from the respective hardware vendor and embedded into WinPE-based media manually.

Thank you,

Thank you Ekaterina,

I already tried the troubleshooting steps, without success, and will check the WinPE. I have read by chance a thread about Snap Deploy: they complain about the same network card; the conclusion was to wait for the next product release, which will support the Intel I219 card, but I'm not sure if this also applies to Acronis backup.

Best regards

Hello Freddy,

Update on the thread: We've developed a custom build with the fix for this issue. If the issue still persists, please send me PM and I'll provide you with this build. Or you can wait a little bit, we're about to release an Update 1, which will also contain the fix.

Thank you,
