ABR 11 Build 17311 wrong serial key
Hello,
i have tried to install new build of Backup & Recovery 11 ( Build 17311 ) and all what i get is (after enter serial-key at setup): This is not a Acronis Serial-Key
i tried to install build 17217 and my serial keys ( active subscription ) works well - all of them.
Its an update-installation: so i have to enter 2 keys ( one of ABR 11 and one of ABR 10 )
after entering ABR10 key - the error returns
hmmmmm
something wrong with build 17311 ?
someone else ?

Hi,
yes, ABR10 and Echo WS are upgrade-keys too .... we use acronis since years
the only full liz-key is from Acronis True Image 8
I have installed ABR10 with upgrade-key of ABR10 and upgrade-key of Echo workstation --> works
I have installed ABR11 ( Build 17217 ) with upgrade-key of ABR11 and upgrade-key of ABR10 --> works
I tried to install ABR11 ( Build 17311 ) with upgrade key of ABR11 and upgrade key of ABR10, Echo and full-key of True Image 8 --> wont work :(
Error: This ist not an acronis lizence key ( happens at upgrade key of previous version )
Same Problem if i try to update from ABR11 ( Build 17217 ) to ABR11 ( Build 17311 ). <<---- Wrong
Update:
Now i did following:
Over a ABR10 installation i installed ABR11 ( Build 17217 ) with upgrade-keys
Over ABR11 ( Build 17217 ) i installed ABR11 ( Build 17311 ) and theres an other ABR11 key automtically entered
.... and the installation works fine ... without any other key :)
but i cant directly install ABR11 build 17311 in any way :(

ha ! now i see the problem !
the automatically entered key at the update procedure of ABR Build 17217 to Build 17311 ist without "-" between numbergroups.
its just from:
xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx
to
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
looks like a bug, isnt it ?
Installation of ABR 11 Build 17311 works without entering "-" at ser-key-field perfect ;)
Upgrade-key of universal restore is to enter without "-" also.
... but NOT with a fresh Install of Build 17311 !
If someone found a solution ... pls tell me thx ;)

Looks like you found an issue with the installer, Acronis have released a new build that had a release note entry saying they have fixed an issue with upgrade keys so perhaps this will fix the issue you have reported.
