Hello Steve and thank for your reply. I have 2 hard drives on my Dell Inspiron n5110. The one that is SSD Samsung 850 Evo 128gb runs the windows and the other one is Toshiba which i made a backup of the folders there, so it it a File & Folder backup. I have another PC where i can try to copy the .tib file and install Acronis on it, but i'm 99% sure the result will be the same. I don't know where is the log file for the back up, if you can navigate me i will copy it for you.

Ivan, all the log files for backup tasks are found at C:\Program Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs\ti_demon but you would find it a lot easier if you use the MVP Log Viewer Tool as this will also format the log data for you and make it more readable.
Note: you may need to change the Explore file & folder view options to show hidden / system files if you do not see the above folder path.
Another way to check your problem .tib file would be to boot from the Acronis Rescue media and try to open it from there in the Recovery view.

Hello Steve, i run the CHKDSK /R and there's no difference, the hdd was really bad when i created the backup. With more than 3600 bad sectors, but it didn't make any problems using it. I download the MVP log viewer but there's no log files to view. I tried reinstalling the ATI, but nothing changed. I think the only way is to deliver the hdd to some restore data company and pay to extract the information. What do you think about that and which one do you think could do the work and is it worthy ?
