Erick, I am not a Mac user so have not tried to follow the steps in the KB document myself but as I understand, you have to follow them exactly as stated otherwise it doesn't work!
If you still have an issue, then please open a Support Ticket direct with Acronis to have them investigate why the KB help does not work for you?
