Brand new to Acronis - It fell over at first use

Thread needs solution

Heard great things about Acronis, so signed up for free trial before I purchased. Tried to run the backup and it fell over straight away on first use. Error message:
Unable to Create First Snapshot

I clicked the more details, which advised to collect the System Report Information and submit to customer support, however because I'm only on the free trial, it won't let me. Obviously some irony that if they wanted me to buy their product, it should work first.

Anyway, the only bit of info on the help page is:

If anyone can make any sense of that I'd greatly appreciate it, or know how I can get some help from Acronis, otherwise it's unlikely I'll be purchasing.

I think your question is in the right hands now : trial version is supposed to work exactly as the paid version with the exception regarding support which is clearly solved after you had the excellent idea to post on the forum
