Don't see Acronis Partition in Windows Explorer
I just created a new Acronis partition using the Acronis software. I am currently running a full backup to a image file that should be saved in that partition.
Windows disk manager shows this partition as a logical drive. but I can't see the drive in Windows explorer. I want to be able to copy the image file from the logical drive to a online backup service I use.
How can I see the drive and the files on it in Windows explorer?
Thanks

Hello Jeffrey,
I will surely help you and resolve the query.
K0LO, thank you very much for your recommendations, you are absolutely right.
Jeffrey, as I understand, you have created a Secure Zone. Acronis Secure Zone is a hidden partition and it can't be accessed using Windows Explorer. It's a special partition for storing backups only and ordinary applications (including Windows Explorer) cannot access it for archive security purposes.
Thank you.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

While you can't "access" the files in the ASZ with Windows Explorer, you can see them - you could do that with TI2009 also.
What I've found with TI2010 is that for some reason that ability disappears from time to time. In other words, sometimes you can see the files in the ASZ and other time you can’t.

Hello TheWeaz,
Please accept my apologies for the delay with the response.
It seems that there's something wrong Acronis True Image Home so I may recommend you to re-install it completely, or at least update SnapAPI drivers:
- Download SnapAPI Build 503;
- Unpack it and install with Disabled logging:
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you.
