Missing directory in TI 2009 Home

Thread needs solution

Hi. I have a specific directory C:\Photos that I would like to backup with other user data in the My Documents structure. Although it is selected to be included, it is not backed up when the task runs. I have attached a couple of images of my configuration. Im01 shows th configuration of the backup task. The second image shows the archive's content. C:\Photos is missing. As a workaround, I created a separate task to backup only this directory... I also looked at the script files and found that the script file does not have the directory C:\Photos in it... Still, what puzzles me is that when I edit the task, the directory is properly selected...
Any advice would help. I use ATIH2009 Build 3769 with Vista BlackBox (Ultimate/Intégrale).

Thanks and best regards.

Daniel.

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

First of all please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program. Check it in Help -> About. You can always download the latest build of the program from your account under Registered Products.

If the issue persists update Acronis scheduler using the following KB article http://kb.acronis.com/content/1518

Then recreate schedule task and see if the issue persists. Please let us know the results.

Thanks for the hints. Here are my answers/comments:

- I have the latest build of the software (9769).

- I have tried the update recommended in the KB article. I recreated a task and added the C:\Photos directory. The directory was added and now it appears in the script (see Script3.txt). But when I ran the task, the Photos directory was not added to the archive (see archive.JPG). I then deleted the archive and started from scratch. You will see that the size of the new archive does not contain the C:\Photos directory although it is configured and present in the XML script...(see archive2.JPG I still have another task to backup my C:Photos directory as you can see in the other archives PhotosVideosxx.tib.

Thanks,

Daniel.
