Re-Installation of 2008 Version of Acronis
My computer crashed in April. The machine was "flushed and filled" by my IT service. My problem is that I have the Acronis CD but cannot re-install it. I wanted to re-install it so that I could purchase the 2010 update. However, I am asked to enter the registration # and other information that, unfortunately, I stored in a set of files that, apparently, I failed to back-up. When my machine was flushed and filled, I lost all of my folders and files that had not been backed up.
My CD shows my name placed above the CD "Title" Acronis, Inc., a CD number, an Order ID, the date of "Saturday, 24 may, 2008 and, I assume the time--9:03:12, the seller (I believe) is shown as Digital River.
I have been able to re-connect to my "account" which indicates that I did not register the Acronis product when I purchased it. Therefore, I suspect that I did not receive any emailed information (e.g., serial number, installation key, etc.) that one would normally receive if registration were carried through to its natural conclusion.
How can I obtain the information I require to re-install Acronis?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Happy new year ,
same situation for me. My purchase date was 29 april 2008 (according to my disc). I ordered the backup incorrectly thinking that all needed reinstallation info was with the back-up disc. it was stored away unopened.
after opening recently due to crash, I did not see the needed install serial number.
I need to reinstall.
Can my password be sent to my email address or via PM. Thanks - great product
