Run ATI from desktop Shortcut BUT need better indication of backup completion.

Thread needs solution

I have created a desktop shortcut to execute a backup.
The shortcut target is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageLauncher.exe" /script:E9C9813D-9AB5-46A1-82C8-7B09509E68AC

This works just fine. I get notifications when the backup starts and completes. However these notifications disappear off the screen after a few seconds. I would like a more positive indication of backup completion.
Either:
a) Have the ATI window to be open during the backup process so that progress may be checked and the completion is more obvious. or:
b) Have some way of the completion notification staying on the screen until it is manually closed.

Any ideas??

Note
I am actually devising a procedure for unsophisticated users to run backups (otherwise I wouldn't bother with using a desktop shortcut).

You are asking for product modification here. What you can do today is double click the Acronis system tray to launch the GUI and see the progress of the backup.

do you use the email notification? i use the email that my iphone is hooked up to so i know the instant something is wrong.

Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.
After further consideration I think I'll just get the intended users to execute the ATI program manually, and provide them simple instructions as to how to run the backup.
