XP Window Freezes on Boot after install of Drivers
I am upgrading to the current version of ATI. The new version did not install right and crashed my XP system boot. I contacted Acronis and they had me to reinstall a prior disk image and get the old version off my system with a software removal tool, and the new version loaded. The ATI software works now. But, I have another problem. One of the the things that I did was to install new drivers Snap API Drivers for the software. After installing the snap API drivers, my computer, after doing a "cold boot" stops loading at anytime during or after the XP window loads. This always happens before the welcome screen. This does not happen any other time I boot, other than the first time (i.e. cold boot). I ran "fixmbr" and "fixboot" from the repair console off of the XP CD. Should I remove and or reinstall the API drivers? I have also recontacted the Acronis, but they are real slow in getting back to me. I am running XP, SP2 all updates, and no other problems. Also, no software malware infection.
Thanks for any and all help in advance,

Hello Charlesn56,
I have read your message and am confident I will be able to assist you with your issue.
I may recommend you to update SnapAPI drivers to the latest version to get rid of the issue. Please download SnapAPI driver build 503, unpack and install it with Disabled logging.
This update should fix the issue.
Thank you.
