Freezing under Windows 7 64-bit

Thread needs solution

Hello.

I recently downloaded the Acronis True Image Home 2012 trial edition and have installed the software successfully on my Windows 7 64-bit PC. Installation had no issues, however after installation when opening the software it freezes and becomes unresponsive on the dashboard before any items can be clicked.

I have un-installed and reinstalled, disabled virus protection, and rebooted a number of times. Have also searched for any reported issues on here and the support base however the current version seems to be Windows 7 64-bit compatible.

Any help would be appreciated.

We will need some additional diagnostic info from the problem machine. Could you please send us: 

  1. Userdump
  2. Acronis Info

This logs should show us the cause of the problem.

Same thing kind of. The interface opens, everything clicks, but nothing happens. And I am not using the trial version. It did work once, no idea why. On XP machines, no problems. Windows 7 64-bit it has been nothing short of a pain and cannot find any information.  Hopefully there will be a solution here.
