Hi, I tried a week ago to clone a linux Ext3 hard drive with Acronis Backup and Recovery: Advanced Workstation Linux boot media. I went to Disk Management, right clicked on the Source disk (partition type was labeled as Unsuported even though I used the Linux boot media), selected Clone basic disk, and selected the destination disk. The operation started off with 50% bar, and then the operation status changed to "Failed".

How do I clone an Ext3 (or other linux partitions) with Acronis Backup and Recovery?

Back it up and then recover on the target. The trick is that nowhere in the userguide filesystems that Disk Management supports. "Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 can back up and recover the following file systems" is about 'backup and recover', not disk management.

Does the advanced server media behave in the same way, where on the fly clone can not be achieved?
