OS removed Snapshot on cloud only backup.

Thread needs solution

Hi we keep getting a "Backup failed because the operating system removed the snapshot." error when attempting a cloud-only backup on Acronis Cyber Protect.

 

Here is the layout of what's going on:

Jose, can I run this VSS Doctor during the workday or would you recommend I do it after-hours? Does it render any services unavailable during it's workflow?

Hello! The VSS doctor is a simply and light app. It only will restart the and test the native snapshot tools. You can use it with the machine in production without problems.
