Acronis 2016 to cloud misses folders

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I use ATI 2016 with cloud and local backups.

Cloud backups are scheduled and consist of selected folders and/or folders and nested folders.

I receive a log mail after backups to detect problems. All mails were successful. Looks fine.

But, I connected to the cloud through a browser and had a look to the backups contents.

Some backups were ok, but with two of them entire folders were NOT in the backups.

I have a Mydocs backups to save Documents folder. This folder contains 2 sub folders :

Work and Personal. Only the Work folder was int the cloud backup. I inspected the backup definition in ATI and the two folders are ticked. I just clicked "backup now" and the 'personal' backup went to the cloud OK.

Are scheduled backups to cloud different from manual ones ?

Are log mails reliable?

Do we have to check backups contents ?

Additional question: Where can I found a complete logs history of a given backup ?

Thanks.

Hi Jacques Bratieres,

The scheduled backups do NOT differ from manual ones and the mails logs are reliable.

What happened to your "Personal" folder should be investigated by our Support Team. We take our Customers' data integrity very seriously so we will do our best in order to find our the root cause.

You can check the logs for the executed operations in this directory:

C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. Logs are in xml format and very hard to explore!

Would you like a zip file containing the log files ?

Hello Jacques,

Thank you for your posting! You could send us the logfiles as feeback (please PM me after the feedback is sent). Please also provide a screenshot of the backup settings in the related plan.

Thank you!
